Emily Dake | Executive Director

One of Indigo Hippo’s co-founders, Emily has worked with the organization since the beginning. She holds a BFA from the University of Cincinnati’s DAAP school of art and her personal creative work focuses in ceramics and mixed media sculpture. She has a passion for creative reuse and community collaborations, and one of her favorite ways of participating in Indigo Hippo’s mission is by connecting folks to unexpected materials that bring their creativity to life. Outside of Indigo Hippo, Emily enjoys teaching ceramics, adventuring in nature, and supporting Cincinnati’s incredible local businesses.

Chelsea Zoutis | Board President

Chelsea Zoutis is an attorney in the Cincinnati area. She’s a lover of art from an early age, scrapbooking, drawing, and crafting with those American Girl craft sets we all knew and loved in the early aughts. Growing up in Cincinnati, she turned to performing arts in high school. She’s thrilled to be with an organization that understands the importance art plays in our lifetime and that is committed to accessible art.

Mary Beth Lisy | Board Vice President

Mary Beth Lisy is passionate and excited about encouraging creativity and expanding its accessibility to the community. Her background includes project management, RFP evaluation, technical writing, and marketing. Mary Beth currently works for First Student, Inc. as a Marketing Specialist in Cincinnati and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of Cincinnati.

 

Morgan Mazone | Board Member

Morgan works at Procter & Gamble in Finance and Accounting, having held various roles across Corporate, Brand and Product Supply Finance. Morgan has nearly 10 years of experience where she has built a reputation for operational excellence, forecasting accuracy, and a deep commitment to organization morale and culture.

Morgan serves as the Co-Chair of Procter & Gamble’s annual ArtsWave Campaign, raising over $2 million to support Cincinnati arts organizations. Previously holding leadership roles in various organizations including Women’s Networks, New Hire/Intern Programs, as well as several workplace culture teams.

David Corns | Board Secretary

David Corns is an artist and designer that has been a part of the Cincinnati artist community for 15 years. He co-founded Team B Architecture & Design in 2016 as a lead designer who enjoys working with other art-based non-profit groups, small business owners, and neighborhood CDCs to see their visions come to life. He is also co-owner of Team C, a custom furniture and millwork fabrication company. He currently resides in Northside, where you can find him catching local music, grabbing a drink, or walking the neighborhood.

Matt Wollman | Board Member

Matt Wollman is a healthcare consultant with over 15 years of experience in mental and behavioral health, care innovation, experience strategy, and human-centered design. Driven to create better and more meaningful healthcare experiences, his career is deeply rooted in a passion for driving meaningful change through solutions that put people first. Matt is a Cincinnati native and currently makes his home in its historic Over-the-Rhine neighborhood. He is happiest when in nature, indulging in Cincinnati’s extraordinary food scene, or cheering in the stands of Paycor Stadium each fall (WHO-DEY!).

 

Bridget Jancarz | Board Member

Bridget Jancarz is the Vice President, Network Impact at StriveTogether, a national movement working to support better and more equitable outcomes for kids and families across the country. With over a decade of experience in place-based collective impact, she leads StriveTogether’s strategy to support Cradle to Career Network members to accelerate their progress through the Theory of Action™ toward better and more equitable outcomes for young people. This includes proactive and responsive network supports, impact investment and a comprehensive network member experience. Cincinnati is Bridget’s adopted home and loves the creativity and culture of the Queen City. She spends her time supporting community-building efforts across the city and you can usually find her at home Bengals or FC Cincinnati games.

Aditi Naik | Board Member

Aditi (uh-dee-dee) is originally from Mumbai, India, but proudly calls Cincinnati her hometown. She is an experienced non-profit professional with a Master’s of Public Administration from the Ohio State University and a demonstrated history of working in grant compliance and administration, and program development. She is currently the Healthcare Network Coordinator at the Ohio Children’s Alliance. In her spare time, she enjoys crafting, sewing, and painting!

Cheryl Kreindler | Board Member

Cheryl Kreindler is a senior vice president and strategic environmental consultant at WSP USA Inc. with more than 30-years experience. She works with clients to create performance-based programs and optimize business processes using systematic approaches. Serving the arts community is important to her. When she moved back to the Cincinnati area, after 30 years in Detroit, she began to look for ways to combine her work experiences with her love of the arts. The ArtsWave Boardway Bound program offered Cheryl an avenue to easily get involved through board service. When not working, Cheryl spends her time hiking, reading and cooking.

Abby Kacen | Storefront Manager

Abby recently moved to Cincinnati from Athens, Georgia. She received her MA in Nonprofit Management & BFA in Interdisciplinary Arts at the University of Georgia. Abby is a cartoonist, zinester, punk, and DIY organizer who is passionate about equality and accessibility when it comes to the arts and mental health. Outside of the shop, she's making comics, playing guitar, spending time outdoors, or volunteering in the community.
