CALL FOR 2024/2025 SOLO EXHIBIT PROPOSALS!

Submission Deadline: June 1, 2024

Celebrating the start of the third decade of Manifest Exhibitions, the gallery is calling for original bodies of work for consideration during its twenty-first season.

Anyone can submit a proposal. Artists should bear in mind the need for a consistent and very strong body of work when submitting. Quality of documentation/images affects the committee's impression of the submitting artist.

Includes exhibitor honorarium of $100 for each exhibiting solo artist, and new Grand Jury Award of $1,000 for one jury-selected work from among the exhibits on view.

JOB OPPORTUNITY: SOTA Academic Advisor in the Arts

Brief Description: Northern Kentucky University is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Academic Advisor in the School of the Arts (SOTA). The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting students in Art & Design, they will advise majors and minors with a primary focus on students majoring in Pre-Art Therapy, Art History or one of the many tracks in Studio Arts, including Animation, Drawing, New Media Art, Painting, Photography, and Spatial Arts (Ceramics + Sculpture). Summer advising responsibilities will also extend to students in Theatre & Dance as well as to Visual Communication Design with limited advisement of Music students on an as needed basis.

earth day Student logo contest

Open to all 7th - 12th grade students, this contest is for the design of a logo for Earth Day with the theme “Planet vs. Plastic.” Each entry should be an original piece of art work, due by March 7, 2024.

Prize: $250 worth in cash and prizes
